Along with the big changes happening to our main website, we will also be changing PeerIndex Groups.
When our new website is released in mid August, group owners will temporarily lose the ability to create and edit groups. This will last from the 8th till the 31st August. If you have embedded a group list in your web page (and connect to it through api.peerindex.com), this service will continue until the switchover. The embedded links will continue to work throughout this month, so there is no downtime.
In fact anyone will be able to view groups which have been previously created, through the PeerIndex API: http://api.peerindex.com/1/embed/group?profile=<group_owner_name>&group=<group_name> Use this URL with your details and you will be able to view any existing group.
Groups on the existing site will be transferred across to the new one, so no lists will be lost. When the new groups site is active (at the end of August), you will be able to create and edit groups once again.
